PreciseDeletion: Primers for seamless genome-wide gene deletion of genes

PreciseDeletion is a database of primers for the precise scar free deletion of genes, according to the methods described in Aubrey et al. (2015) A Tool for Multiple Targeted Genome Deletions that Is Precise, Scar-Free, and Suitable for Automation. doi: 10.1371/journal.pone.0142494.

Primer details can be queried using this form. The current primers were uploaded on 16th December 2014. For large volumes of queries we ask that you download the complete dataset, using the download links below.

Downloads:

• Compressed CSV file of all primers and products for all ORFs in S. cerevisiae, S. pombe and L. lactis (14 Mb compressed, 139 Mb when uncompressed)
• Compressed complete database (MySQL) (18 Mb compressed, 150 Mb when uncompressed)
• Database schema: diagram, table creation script

The primers were designed using PD5, an open source toolkit.
